Job Description & Requirements
Provide Level 2 production support and maintenance for business applications and batch jobs, ensuring operational stability and SLA compliance in collaboration with development and infrastructure teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 production support for business applications and batch jobs to ensure operational continuity
- Monitor applications and troubleshoot incidents promptly to maintain SLA compliance
- Support and maintain Java/J2EE applications running in Linux/Unix environments
- Develop and maintain Python and Shell scripts to automate operational tasks and improve efficiency
- Execute SQL queries and analyze logs to identify and resolve application issues
- Support application deployments, job scheduling, and system monitoring activities
- Collaborate closely with development and infrastructure teams to resolve technical issues effectively
- Minimum 2 years of experience in application support or development
- Hands-on experience with Python, Shell scripting, SQL, and Linux/Unix environments
- Basic knowledge of Java/J2EE applications
- Familiarity with web applications, batch jobs, JBOSS, MariaDB, and SQL
- Knowledge of job scheduling, MQ setup, and CI/CD setup is a plus
- Exposure to the banking industry is advantageous
- Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to work well in a team environment
