Job Description

The Singapore Canoe Federation (SCF) is the National Sports Association governing canoeing and paddlesports in Singapore. As we strengthen our High Performance system towards the SEA Games 2029 and future international competitions, SCF is seeking a committed and organised High Performance Executive (Kayak) to support the delivery of our national kayak programme.

This role will work closely with athletes, coaches, and stakeholders to coordinate High Performance operations, competitions, athlete administration, reporting, and compliance matters. The ideal candidate should be detail oriented, proactive, able to manage multiple priorities, and passionate about supporting athletes and coaches within a high performance sporting environment.

This is an opportunity to contribute to the growth of Singapore's national paddling system and support athletes competing at the highest levels of the sport.

SCF High Performance Executive (Kayak)

Role Purpose

The High Performance Executive (Kayak) supports the operational delivery, administration, coordination, and compliance of the SCF High Performance kayak programme.

The role works closely with athletes, coaches, the High Performance Manager, and stakeholders to ensure High Performance systems, competition operations, athlete records, reporting requirements, and programme logistics are delivered accurately, efficiently, and professionally.

The role also supports athlete pathway administration, competition planning, stakeholder coordination, and compliance requirements aligned with SCF, SportSG, SpexSG, CoachSG, and NROC frameworks.

Reporting Line

Reports to the High Performance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

High Performance Administration and Operations

  • Coordinate spexCarding applications, SportSync matters, and athlete eligibility requirements

  • Maintain accurate athlete attendance, performance, pathway, and welfare records

  • Support administration and tracking of SCF national team and athlete vessel permits

  • Maintain inventory tracking and asset records, including equipment, apparel, and High Performance resources

  • Coordinate competition entries, accreditation, travel, accommodation, and logistics for training camps and competitions

  • Maintain and regularly update databases of athletes, coaches, competition records, and High Performance documentation

  • Track and update athlete competition results, rankings, and performance information

  • Liaise with athletes, coaches, parents, and stakeholders on training, competition, and operational matters

  • Support development and coordination of the annual local and international competition calendar

  • Support administration and operations for local and international competitions and High Performance activities

  • Maintain accurate and timely High Performance documentation, reporting, and compliance records aligned with SCF, SportSG, SpexSG, CoachSG, and NROC requirements

  • Support preparation and submission of High Performance reports, grant documentation, and funding requirements

  • Support coordination of High Performance meetings, reports, presentations, and committee documentation

Finance Administration Support

  • Support preparation and processing of athlete and staff claims, allowances, and payroll documentation

  • Assist in tracking athlete payments, contributions, competition budgets, and programme expenditure

  • Support financial reconciliation, reporting, and budget monitoring processes as required

Organisational Administration and Communications

  • Maintain oversight of key dates, deadlines, and deliverables within the SCF master calendar

  • Support branding, recruitment, and promotional initiatives with the Events and Marketing team

  • Assist in developing website, social media, and communications content relating to High Performance programmes and national teams

Key Success Metrics

  • Accurate and timely High Performance administration and reporting

  • Smooth coordination of training camps, competitions, and athlete operations

  • Strong compliance with SCF, SportSG, SpexSG, CoachSG, and NROC requirements

  • Accurate athlete, coach, and programme records

  • Positive working relationships with athletes, coaches, parents, and stakeholders

  • Effective operational and logistical support to the High Performance programme

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, Sport Science, or related field preferred

  • Experience in sports administration, High Performance operations, or event coordination preferred

  • Strong organisational, communication, and administrative skills

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and operational priorities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and digital administration systems

  • Familiarity with SportSync, SpexSG, and High Performance sport environments is an advantage

  • Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to work in a fast paced sporting environment
