Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

Job Responsibilities:

• Inspection, troubleshooting and testing for heavy vehicles - lorries, trucks, tankers
• Conduct regular maintenance of vehicles
• Ensure repair works carried out comply with regulatory codes, specifications and company guidelines
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and safety at the workplace
• Conduct preventive maintenance, regular servicing, and inspections to reduce the risk of vehicle breakdowns and ensure operational reliability
• Respond promptly to breakdown and recovery calls at any time, including shifts, weekends, and public holidays, to minimize vehicle downtime
• Drive safely and comply with all safety guidelines while working in various weather and traffic conditions to protect yourself and others

Job Requirements:

• Possess a class 3 driving license
• Possess a forklift license is an advantage
• 1-2 to years of relevant working experience in automotive service and repair
• Capable of working independently
• Team player with initiative and a positive attitude towards learning
• Able to work under pressure & willing to take responsibility & accountability of their role
• Capable of identifying & suggesting improvements
