What you'll be doing
- Develop and implement internal controls, risk management strategies, and governance frameworks
- Conduct assessments, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to strengthen compliance and efficiency
- Collaborate with departments to enhance data analytics capabilities for risk monitoring
- Support the Data Protection Officer in ensuring compliance with PDPA and other privacy regulations
- Lead data protection impact assessments and ensure controls are effectively implemented
- Investigate and manage data breaches, providing timely reporting and mitigation strategies
- Provide training and guidance on internal controls, governance, and data protection best practices
- Stay updated on evolving compliance regulations and industry standards, ensuring policy enhancements
What we're looking for
- Bachelor Degree in Accountancy
- Professional certification with Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)/ Chartered Accountant (CA) will be advantageous
- 6 - 7 years of experience in internal controls/ compliance and internal audit
- Strong analytical mindset, resourceful, and able to work independently
- Excellent team player with strong networking and project management skills
- Self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, IDEA, or similar data analytics tools is an advantage
