Job Scope
- Maintain standards of patient care while working with our nursing team to provide patient care support
- Adherence to principles and practice of infection control, health and safety
- Assisting in the inventory management of stocks and consumables.
Main responsibilities
- Preparation of the dialysis machine.
- Removal of medical consumables items from the dialysis machine.
- Perform machine, dialysis chair, and patient environment external disinfection.
- Ensure equipment is clean, safe, and in good working order, and report any defects to the in-charge.
- Assisting with stock management, e.g., adequate, correct, and appropriate stocks.
- Assisting patients pre- and post-treatment if needed e.g., assist patient out and into the wheelchair, assist to take the weight, etc.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the treatment and non-treatment areas.
- Perform proper floor mopping, waste management, and patients toilets cleaning in the absence of the cleaner.
- Any other tasks or duties that are assigned to you
Education / Training / Experience
- Minimum Secondary Education with Certificate in Healthcare Support
- Preferably with experience in dialysis setting
- Candidates with no relevant experience will also be considered.
- Training will be provided for those without renal experience.
