Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to support healthcare professionals in delivering quality patient care. The Healthcare Assistant will assist with daily patient needs, basic clinical tasks, and administrative support while ensuring patients comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist nurses and healthcare professionals in providing basic patient care.

• Support patients with daily living activities such as feeding, bathing, toileting, and mobility assistance.

• Monitor and record patients vital signs (e.g., temperature, blood pressure, pulse).

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of patient areas and medical equipment.

• Help with patient transfers and mobility support where required.

• Ensure proper documentation of patient observations and care provided.

• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.

• Follow infection control protocols and workplace safety guidelines.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.

Requirements

• Minimum secondary school education.

• Certification in Healthcare Assistant / Nursing Aide / relevant healthcare training preferred.

• Prior experience in healthcare, nursing home, clinic, or home care services is an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of patient care and infection control practices.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Compassionate, patient, and responsible attitude.

• Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays if required.

Preferred Skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Ability to handle elderly patients and individuals with mobility limitations.

• Team-oriented with strong attention to detail.
