Job Summary
- You will lead the development and implementation of QHSE plans, promote safety awareness, ensure compliance with ISO 45001: 2018 and local regulations, and collaborate with teams and government agencies to maintain safe and efficient plant operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company's QHSE plan to ensure workplace safety and compliance
- Lead by example to promote best safety practices and instill safety awareness among employees
- Provide HSE training and ensure documentation is accessible to all personnel
- Attend management meetings to share ideas and best industry practices with employees at all levels
- Liaise with local government agencies to secure operating licenses, permits, and approvals
- Report incidents promptly and conduct thorough investigations to identify root causes and lessons learned
- Oversee safe, efficient, and cost-effective plant operations in line with organizational policies and procedures
- Analyze risks and ensure adherence to ISO 45001:2018 standards and local Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations
- Monitor compliance with local regulatory requirements and legislation
- Collaborate effectively with team members and external partners to support safety and operational goals
- Use Microsoft Office and other industry-standard software to manage HSE documentation and reporting
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or degree education with experience in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 compliance and certification processes
- People management skills and ability to work collaboratively as a team player
- Ability to remain calm and support team members under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills to build relationships internally and externally
- Strong problem-solving skills to interpret complex issues and motivate others
