You will lead the development and implementation of QHSE plans, promote safety awareness, ensure compliance with ISO 45001: 2018 and local regulations, and collaborate with teams and government agencies to maintain safe and efficient plant operations.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement the company's QHSE plan to ensure workplace safety and compliance
Lead by example to promote best safety practices and instill safety awareness among employees
Provide HSE training and ensure documentation is accessible to all personnel
Attend management meetings to share ideas and best industry practices with employees at all levels
Liaise with local government agencies to secure operating licenses, permits, and approvals
Report incidents promptly and conduct thorough investigations to identify root causes and lessons learned
Oversee safe, efficient, and cost-effective plant operations in line with organizational policies and procedures
Analyze risks and ensure adherence to ISO 45001:2018 standards and local Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations
Monitor compliance with local regulatory requirements and legislation
Collaborate effectively with team members and external partners to support safety and operational goals
Use Microsoft Office and other industry-standard software to manage HSE documentation and reporting
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Diploma or degree education with experience in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 compliance and certification processes
People management skills and ability to work collaboratively as a team player
Ability to remain calm and support team members under pressure
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills to build relationships internally and externally
Strong problem-solving skills to interpret complex issues and motivate others
