Job Descriptions:

  • Address areas of non-conformance to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) standards through corrective actions.
  • Analyze areas of non-conformance to WSH standards to determine reasons for non-conformance.
  • Analyze how different approaches may impact problem-solving outcomes.
  • Conduct learning activities to enhance WSH standards and practices.
  • Develop an action plan based on the best solutions identified during WSH solutions discussions.
  • Develop corporate social responsibility policies for logistics operations.
  • Develop measures to enhance organizational awareness of environmental protection.
  • Develop novel approaches to solve problems that are complex in nature.
  • Drive WSH activities to ensure department compliance with requirements.
  • Evaluate risk factors that impact efficiency.
  • Facilitate discussions on WSH reports and findings.
  • Formulate WSH solutions based on analysis of WSH reports.
  • Formulate environmental protection policies and procedures.
  • Implement advanced environmental protection policies and procedures.
  • Optimize the use of allocated resources within business activities.
  • Organize internal audit schedules for quality, safety, health, and customers.
  • Review the allocation of resources across different business activities.
  • Review changes in compliance/tariff/rate/cost/quotation requirements and eligibility to manage the impact on compliance operations.
  • Review different aspects of project management based on priorities and needs.
  • Review environmentally friendly trends in the industry for implementation.

Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience as a safety officer
  • In-depth knowledge of legislation (e.g. OSHA/EPA) and procedures
  • Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
  • Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety
  • Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
  • Proficient in MS Office Working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Diligent with great attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics
  • BSc/BA in safety management or relevant field is preferred
  • Certificate in occupational health and safety
