  • Enterprise Strategy Development
    • Lead the development of SMU PCE strategy, including identification of growth segments, strategic priorities, and differentiated positioning.
    • Frame and evaluate strategic options and articulate clear recommendations for senior leadership decision making.
  • Integration and Alignment across SMU
    • Drive alignment across schools, SMU Academy (SMUA), SMU Executive Development (ExD) and central units to ensure coherent and coordinated execution of the PCE strategy.
    • Facilitate resolution of trade-offs across stakeholders with differing priorities and operating models.
  • Business and Product Transformation
    • Design and incubate new business models, enterprise partnership frameworks, and sector level initiatives.
    • Translate pilots and early-stage initiatives into scalable operating models, processes and institutional capabilities.
    • Support transformation of existing PCE business in SMUA and ExD, including product rationalization.
  • Performance, insights and continuous improvement
    • Establish frameworks to monitor performance, outcomes and impact of PCE initiatives
    • Drive data collection, market intelligence, and learner/enterprise insights to inform strategy and product refinement.
    • Continuously review and evolve PCE strategy in response to market developments and internal learning.
  • Change Management and Organisational Development
    • Lead change management efforts to support the adoption of new PCE strategy and operating models across SMU.
    • Build stakeholder buy-in, shared ownership and institutional capability for transformation.
    • Support VP(PCE) in driving broader organizational development and business transformation initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Degree, preferably with post graduate qualifications and at least 12 years of work experience in adult learning, lifelong learning or related sectors.
  • Experience in strategy development, consulting or transformation roles.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise learning, skills frameworks, and curriculum design.
  • Experience in market research, customer insights and programme evaluation methodologies
  • Strong OD and change management capabilities.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across complex systems and organisations.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
