Manage jet fuel supply & trading, aviation marketing and oil trading daily business, strictly control risks, and carry out trading activities in accordance with the company's internal control and compliance requirements to ensure that no risks and violations occur
Focusing on the company's annual budget and KPIs, formulate business plans and performance targets for jet fuel and oil products trading to achieve the company's annual trading volume, revenue and profit budgets
Build an international and market-oriented trading structure, management system and business process (including reviewing physical and paper trading strategies, and revising annual trading limits and hedging strategies)
Establish and improve the company's global jet fuel supply network, consolidate and optimise global jet fuel resources, guide and coordinate the jet fuel trading of subsidiaries to maximise the benefits of jet fuel arbitrage trading at company's overall level
Actively develop new markets and products for international trading, lead and organise relevant departments to carry out risk pre-assessment and feasibility studies on the products to be entered into the markets or trades, enrich the company's purchase and sales channels continuously improve business models to achieve relevant strategies, economic and social benefits
Maintain good business relationships with customers, suppliers, affiliates and relevant partners
Work closely with the Operation, Risk Management, Legal and Compliance and Finance Department to ensure that trading risks are controllable, efficient in execution, and accurate in accounting
Submit relevant business data and analysis materials to the Senior Management, Board of Directors, CNAF and relevant departments as required
Conducts knowledge sharing sessions related to jet fuel and oil trading with all employees, including but not limited to internal training, external training and data sharing
Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent
15 years of relevant working experience, with a minimum of 8 years in jet fuel trading (physical and derivatives)
Familiar with oil-related trading business and investments, in-depth understanding of market and pricing structure in related products/areas
Seasoned, resilient, independent and resourceful, business acumen, excellent organisational, networking and leadership skills
Good ethics and professional conduct, and with strong sense of responsibility and teamwork spirit
Excellent command of English and Chinese languages (as the position needs to frequently communicate with English/Chinese-speaking stakeholders both orally and in writing as well as to prepare and proof-read English/Chinese official documents and presentations whenever appropriate).
