Head of Trade Finance & Credit Risk

Our client, with over 20 years in Commodities trading across various regions, are currently seeking for a Head of Trade Finance & Credit Risk.

Functioning as an independent contributor, the Head of Trade Finance & Credit Risk will be responsible with building strong relationship with external parties to gather new credit lines. In addition, the incumbent is expected to conduct due diligence on counterparties, developing and enhancing credit risk policies. The Head of Trade Finance & Credit Risk will gradually build up the Trade Finance department to support the end-to-end activities related to trade finance.

Skills and Qualifications

• Possess at least a Master/ Degree in Finance or equivalent
• At least 10 years working experience in Trade Finance with at least 5 years of experience in Credit Risk management
• Strong connection with upper management external parties from banks or trade credit funds
• Able to communicate in Mandarin and English as the role is required to communicate with Chinese speaking associates/counterparts
• Familiar with relevant policies and regulations in China and Singapore is ideal
• Working experience within Commodity Trading industry is an advantage
