Responsibilities
. Translate the organization's strategic agreement with its client, for a given Pilot Project into a comprehensive operational plan, including risk assessment.
. Lead the operational execution and oversees the planning, costs and resources in compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
. Oversees the development of chemical marking systems, readers and digital platform, including all research, preparation and execution of all R&D experiments and trials, both internally & externally with subcontractors and clients.
. Works closely with the R&D teams to align on project plans, to develop and commercialise a cohesive tech application and solution.
. Manage project teams, escalate issues and provide regular reports and updates to stakeholders and management.
Requirements
. PhD in Plastics/Engineering or related sciences discipline with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Or Masters degree with 11 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree with 14 years of relevant experience.
. Knowledge in chemistry, material science as well as manufacturing processes.
. Experience leading cross functional project teams in a complex, international and multicultural environment.
. Experience in material application as an engineer/ researcher with the appropriate background to manage R&D and pilot projects.
. Experience in the ability to commercialize &/or new solutions or tech applications.
. Experience operating a P&L unit &/or was responsible for a P&L unit.
