Curriculum Development & Innovation
Oversee the review, adaptation, and continuous improvement of curriculum content, leveraging SPH Media IP assets (e.g., , ).
Partner with NFC's Chinese preschool curriculum team to ensure NFC's unique curriculum and teaching methodologies are incorporated into the programme design.
Drive the integration of innovative approaches such as storytelling, bilingual drama, digital tools, and project-based learning.
Establish progressive learning pathways across preschool to upper primary, ensuring a coherent and scalable curriculum framework.
Teacher Capability & Professional Development
Build and lead a strong teaching faculty, fostering excellence in pedagogy and classroom practice.
Design and implement training, coaching, and professional development programmes for Chinese enrichment teachers.
Develop standards for teacher performance, student outcomes, and classroom observation protocols.
Quality Assurance & Student Outcomes
Define and monitor key teaching and learning quality indicators (student progress, retention, parent satisfaction, academic achievement).
Establish regular audit and evaluation processes for curriculum delivery and teaching quality.
Use data and feedback to inform continuous improvement.
Partnerships & Thought Leadership
Collaborate with SPH Media, MOE, NFC internal curriculum teams, and external educational partners to ensure best-in-class standards.
Represent in industry forums, research initiatives, and thought leadership opportunities.
Contribute to content creation for marketing, thought pieces, and parent education.
Qualifications & Experience
Master's degree (preferred) or Bachelor's degree in Chinese Language, Education, Applied Linguistics, or related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in Chinese language education, with at least 5 years in a leadership or curriculum development role.
Deep knowledge of Singapore MOE Chinese syllabus (Primary level) and strong awareness of international best practices in bilingual education.
Proven track record in curriculum innovation, teacher training, and pedagogy design.
Bilingual in Mandarin and English, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
