A leading semiconductor company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Head of Talent Acquisition (Senior Manager) to lead the in-house Talent Acquisition function supporting operations, engineering, manufacturing, and corporate hiring. This role will lead the TA team and partner closely with business leaders and HRBPs to drive workforce planning, strategic hiring initiatives, and talent pipeline development in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage the in-house Talent Acquisition team to deliver hiring targets and recruitment excellence.
- Drive end-to-end recruitment strategies across engineering, manufacturing, operations, technical, and corporate functions.
- Partner with business leaders and HRBPs on workforce planning, manpower forecasting, and hiring priorities.
- Build proactive talent pipelines for semiconductor and wafer fabrication talent in Singapore and the region.
- Oversee direct sourcing initiatives, employer branding, campus recruitment, and recruitment campaigns to reduce agency dependency.
- Manage recruitment operations, interview processes, offer management, and candidate experience.
- Prepare and present management reports, hiring dashboards, recruitment metrics, and workforce updates to senior leadership.
- Analyse hiring trends and market intelligence to support business decision-making and talent strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement in TA processes, systems, and recruitment effectiveness.
- Manage external recruitment agencies and vendors where required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
- At least 7 to 10+ years of Talent Acquisition / HR experience, with leadership experience in an in-house environment within semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, or advanced hi-tech manufacturing industries.
- Proven experience leading TA teams and managing technical hiring in a manufacturing setup.
- Strong stakeholder management experience with HRBPs, hiring managers, and senior leadership teams.
- Hands-on experience in recruitment analytics, management reporting, and TA dashboards.
- Strong understanding of the Singapore semiconductor talent landscape and hiring market.
- Experience supporting expansion, manufacturing ramp-up, or greenfield projects is an advantage.
- Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
