Job Description

This is a unique, high-impact opportunity to join as Head of Talent & Academy. You will play a vital role in shaping and driving the learning strategy to build future-ready talent, create innovative learning experiences, and lead initiatives that nurture leadership and specialised technical skills across the organisation.

Responsibilities
You will shape and implement the organisation's learning strategy aligned with evolving business models and cutting-edge learning technologies. You will manage the learning and development policy and operating model, balancing organisational complexity with operational requirements to ensure smooth training delivery.

You will lead efforts to forecast skills needs, identify capability gaps, and design robust learning interventions in partnership with business leaders. Additionally, you will oversee the operations, driving digital learning strategies, engaging adult learners, and forming strategic learning partnerships with Institutes of Higher Learning and other key partners.

You will provide thought leadership in talent management and development strategies specific to the sector, managing mentoring programmes, talent development, and leadership training curricula.
You will design and implement talent mobility programmes, succession planning, and scholarship frameworks to build a sustainable talent pipeline. You will also lead employee engagement initiatives to foster a motivated and high-performing workforce.

Requirements

  • At least 12 years of progressive experience in learning and development and talent management, preferably within ICT or technology related industries.
  • Proven success in capability-building initiatives focused on deepening technology-related skills.
  • Strong strategic planning, organisational, and operational skills to implement effective talent and learning strategies.
  • Experience engaging senior stakeholders to identify development needs and succession plans.
  • Ability to design and manage learning programmes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Professional certifications or training in learning and development, facilitation, or leadership development are highly desirable.
  • Analytical, resourceful, innovative, and focused on continuous improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
