Job Objectives
- Management and development of APAC Supply Management operations and staff, ensuring availability of parts and services according to internal and external customer demands
- Ensure the performance of APAC Supply Management Team is maintained and improved in line with the objectives, by ensuring team development, structure, staff skills, training, process alignment and development, responsibilities, interfaces, tools, reporting and alike
- Guarantee all operational activities and decisions maintain full adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Managing and developing competences within the Supply Management team
- Ensure Strategic and operation management of Supply Management Team
- Building and maintaining solid relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders (e.g. Planning, CRS, Product Management, Quality, Airbus Canada etc.)
- Ensure deliveries of aftermarket parts in time, cost and quality
- Priority order management throughout the supply chain
- Monitor and improve suppliers performance and launch appropriate corrective actions
- Ensuring the operational achievement of agreed KPIs
- Acting as 2nd or 3rd level escalation to the management team of the internal stakeholders or Suppliers
- Actively contribute to continuous process improvement by identifying organizational deficiencies and proposing potential solutions for greater efficiency and adherence.
- Demonstrated ability to delegate effectively, empowering team members and managing workload distribution across the team.
- Inspire, manage and develop all direct reports
- Ensure full departmental adherence to all compliance, export/import regulations, and customs requirements
Secondary Responsibilities
- Contribute to the strategic development of the Global Supply Management organisation, incl. efficiency campaigns
- Represent Supply Management in business pipeline reviews to ensure business alignment in customer and business partner contracts
- Participate and potentially lead global cross-functional operational and/or strategic projects
- Support local leadership team by leading or participating in local cross functional projects
- Acts as a role model, demonstrating high professional standards and integrity to lead by example.
- Create a robust succession plan for key regional Supply Management roles, focusing on talent identification, mentorship, and career pathing to build a sustainable leadership pipeline.
Job Requirements
- A university degree in Aeronautics, Business Administration, or a related field is essential
- An excellent command of both written and spoken English is mandatory.
- Experience in people management
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, written and verbally
- Strong change management skills with a proven track record of successful execution
