Role Overview
PU Prime is looking for a highly strategic, commercially minded and execution-driven Head of Strategic PMO to work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team. This role will oversee the company's most important strategic initiatives, ensuring they move effectively from strategy to execution and measurable business outcomes. This is not a reporting-only PMO role. We are looking for someone who can create structure, challenge unclear ownership, resolve bottlenecks, manage cross-functional dependencies and drive stakeholders toward successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Project & Portfolio Management
- Own and manage the portfolio of CEO-sponsored and high-priority strategic projects.
- Translate business priorities into clear project plans, milestones, timelines and measurable outcomes.
- Drive complex cross-functional projects involving Compliance, Legal, Product, IT, Payments, Marketing, Sales, Finance and regional teams.
- Ensure every strategic project has clear ownership and accountability.
- Challenge unrealistic deadlines, unclear deliverables and incomplete execution plans.
- Follow through on commitments and ensure agreed actions are delivered.
Project Governance & Execution
- Establish and continuously improve PU Prime's project governance framework.
- Define clear standards for project initiation, planning, RACI, milestone tracking, budget monitoring, change management and project closure.
- Introduce practical governance that strengthens execution without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
- Ensure projects remain aligned with agreed scope, timelines, resources and business objectives.
Risk & Dependency Management
- Proactively identify project risks, issues, bottlenecks and cross-functional dependencies.
- Establish clear ownership and action plans for critical project risks.
- Identify potential delays before they materially impact project delivery.
- Escalate critical issues to senior management in a timely manner.
- Identify resource conflicts where multiple strategic initiatives compete for the same teams or resources.
CEO & Executive Reporting
- Maintain a centralized CEO Strategic Project Dashboard.
- Provide concise visibility on project status, progress, upcoming milestones, delays, key risks, budget concerns and management decisions required.
- Ensure executive reporting focuses on outcomes, decisions and next actions, rather than activity reporting.
- Provide management with a clear view of whether projects are on track, key blockers and the actions required to move forward.
Strategic Prioritization & Business Impact
- Support the CEO and senior management in prioritizing strategic initiatives.
- Evaluate projects based on strategic importance, revenue impact, regulatory importance, client impact, resource requirements, execution complexity, time sensitivity and ROI.
- Ensure major projects have clearly defined business objectives and success measures.
- Track relevant business outcomes, including Revenue, Net Deposit, FTD, Active Clients, ROI, market penetration, regulatory readiness, operational efficiency and cost savings.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate whether expected business outcomes have been achieved.

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years of professional experience.
- At least 4+ years of experience in PMO, strategic projects, transformation, programme management or a related field.
- Proven experience managing complex cross-functional projects.
- Experience working directly with CEOs, C-level executives and senior management.
- Strong track record of delivering projects involving multiple departments, regions and stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of project governance, risk management and execution methodologies.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to connect strategic initiatives to measurable business outcomes.
- Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Able to constructively challenge senior stakeholders and drive accountability without relying on formal authority.
- Structured, proactive, data-driven and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a clear bias toward execution and results.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior management and cross-functional stakeholders across different regions.
