Head of Secondary (English)

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Secondary to lead our secondary-level English programmes. This is a strategic teaching role that combines classroom excellence with curriculum development and team mentorship.

Responsibilities

Set the curriculum direction for Secondary English, ensuring alignment with MOE requirements and the school&aposs vision.

Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire students to achieve their fullest potential.

Mentor and guide junior teachers, providing pedagogical support and training where needed.

Collaborate with the leadership team on programme innovation and assessment strategies.

Monitor student progress and implement strategies to support diverse learning needs.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in English, Education, or related field (Postgraduate Diploma in Education preferred).

Strong teaching experience at secondary level, ideally with curriculum leadership or HOD experience.

Passion for nurturing young minds and building a collaborative teaching culture.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.
