Overview of the position

The Head of Sales, APAC will be responsible for driving the sales growth strategy for ofi Global spices in APAC region. Will be responsible for managing select key markets directly while leading a dynamic team of sales professionals across the region to drive growth in various other markets through the team. This role is pivotal in managing and exceeding sales targets with existing customers, while proactively identifying and capturing new growth opportunities / projects with both current and prospective clients

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Strategy

  • Develop and execute robust sales strategies to accelerate growth, in alignment with the BU's business objectives in the region.

Sales Growth & Customer Management

  • Direct accountability of sales in select key markets in APAC and driving sales in other markets through dedicated sales team.
  • Own and deliver annual sales targets for the APAC region, with a strong focus on both retention and expansion.
  • Deepen relationships with existing customers unlock new growth opportunities and maximize account potential.
  • Drive new customer acquisition as a top priority & Collaborating with Sales & Origin team to ensure seamless execution to expand the business footprint.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, ensuring a healthy pipeline of prospective clients and projects.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Establish clear KPIs and regularly review team and individual performance against targets.
  • Track progress of key projects for each buyer, ensuring timely support and resolution of challenges.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on sales performance, growth initiatives, and market developments.

Sales Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team of 10+ Sales members across APAC.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture, ensuring team members are supported in tracking and delivering on projects for their respective buyers.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and support to enable individual and team success.

Other Requirements

  • At least 15-20 years of experience in B2B industrial sales, ideally within the food industry.
  • Proven track record in key account management, sales team leadership (specially cross cultural & Multi geographical spread), and driving sustained business growth.
  • Strong sales acumen, relationship management, and effective communication skills
  • Willingness to travel regionally as needed.

Location is flexible within APAC region- Singapore / Vietnam / Indonesia
