Overview of the Role
The Head of Sales, Southeast Asia is responsible for leading Euromonitor International's Singapore sales hub and driving sustainable revenue growth across Singapore and the wider ASEAN region. This role owns the commercial strategy, sales performance, and people leadership for the territory, while strengthening Euromonitor's position as a trusted, strategic partner to clients.
You will directly manage a team of approximately 15 sales professionals, fostering a high-performance, client-centric sales culture aligned with global priorities and local market needs.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Revenue Leadership
- Own and deliver 6% baseline and 10% stretch revenue targets across new business, renewals, upsell, and consulting solutions for Singapore and ASEAN regions.
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy todrive consistent pipeline generation and growth in Annual Recurring Revenue across Euromonitor's portfolio of products and services.
- Identify and unlock growth opportunities in high-potential ASEAN markets, industries and client segments
- Lead and support high-value negotiations with senior client stakeholders, including enterprise and strategic accounts.
Sales Leadership & People Management
- Lead and develop Sales Manager(s) and sales representatives to deliver sustained high performance through structured coaching, feedback, and competency development.
- Build a strong leadership bench by equipping Sales Manager to effectively coach, develop and performancemanage his/her teams.
- Partner with HR Business Partner (HRBP) and regional leadership team to identify and develop next-generations sales leaders
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and strong collaboration across Enterprise and Partnership teams
- Set clear performance expectations, KPIs, and career development pathways aligned to business priorities
- Drive consistent adoption of best-practice sales methodologies, processes, and tools among sales team
Strategic Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Partner closely with Marketing, Consulting, Research, and Product teams to deliver integrated client-centric solutions
- Act as a senior commercial stakeholder for Singapore and ASEAN, collaborating with regional and global leaders to align go-to-market strategies.
- Provide regular market, client, and competitive insights to inform product development, pricing, and commercial strategy.
- Represent Euromonitor International at key client meetings, industry events, and conferences in the region
Client Engagement & Market Leadership
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-suite and senior decision-makers across key enterprise and strategic accounts.
- Ensure a deep understanding of client needs, industry dynamics, and competitive landscapes within Singapore and ASEAN markets.
- Champion a consultative, insight-led selling approach that reinforces Euromonitor's value as a strategic partner rather than a transactional vendor.
Skills & Proficiencies Required
- Proven growth-oriented leader with a strong track record of turning around underperforming teams and building a high-performance, results-driven sales culture.
- Deep expertise in ASEAN markets, with strong understanding of regional dynamics, local business practices and cultural nuances across Singapore and ASEAN.
- Advanced capability in modern, consultative selling, leading complex discovery conversations with C-suite stakeholders on high-value, insight-led solutions.
- Inspirational and resilient people leader, able to elevate ambition, shift mindsets, and lead teams through cultural and operational transformation
- Highly client-centric, with a proven ability to build trusted partnerships, enhance responsiveness, and align regional teams with global best practices.
- Strong data-driven sales leadership, leveraging CRM, MIS, and sales intelligence tools (e.g. Salesforce, AI-enabled prospecting) to drive pipeline visibility, forecasting accuracy, and productivity.
- Expertise in territory strategy and market prioritisation, with experience unlocking growth in emerging and under-penetrated ASEAN markets
- Significant experience leading sales teams across ASEAN, with strong sector knowledge in FMCG, Beauty, Food & Nutrition, Technology, or related industries.
- Proven change leader with experience transitioning sales teams from transactional models to high-value, insight-led and consultative approaches
