The company is a leading contract manufacturer specializing in precision mechanical and mechatronic assemblies for high-tech OEMs in the semiconductor and analytical instrument industries. With comprehensive in-house capabilities, including sheet metal fabrication, frame construction, and complex module assembly in cleanroom environments, the company delivers fully integrated, ready-to-use solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and precision.

The Job

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of strategic local and global customers, managing all commercial matters across operational, tactical, and strategic levels.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding organizational structures, identifying business needs, and staying informed on relevant market trends and developments.
  • Develop and drive commercial strategies based on market insights to achieve long-term business objectives.
  • Align closely with internal commercial stakeholders to ensure local strategies are consistent with overall company direction.
  • Lead new business development initiatives, including participation in international trade fairs, networking events, and engagement with regional suppliers to strengthen market positioning.
  • Collaborate closely with the Asia Regional Business Development Director and Global Account Managers to drive business growth.

Team Management (Singapore):

  • Lead and elevate the sales team to meet the expectations of key customers, positioning the organization as a preferred partner.
  • Set clear, SMART objectives and measurable targets for sales managers, ensuring accountability and performance tracking.
  • Monitor progress against targets, proactively addressing gaps and driving continuous improvement in sales processes.
  • Effectively communicate customer requirements and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on commercial strategy, pipeline, and performance.

The Talent

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
  • 10 years of experience in the high-tech industry, with a strong commercial-technical background.
  • Proven experience in project-driven environments, with solid knowledge of sales processes and the ability to operate across diverse cultural settings.
  • Experience in driving organizational and cultural transformation is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an open and approachable demeanor, coupled with an innovative, entrepreneurial mindset. Demonstrates strong listening skills and a customer-centric approach.
