Roles & Responsibilities
1. Strategic Business Partner
- Serve as the core business partner to regional Sales Leadership across APAC, EMEA & Emerging Markets, owning Forecasting Accuracy and Revenue Certainty as primary operating KPIs for assigned regions.
- Drive end-to-end Lead to Cash (L2C) process optimization, from lead routing, account segmentation, opportunity management to contract closure and revenue recognition.
2. Operating Cadence and Sales Management
- Design and lead core operating rhythms including Top Accounts Review, Pipeline Review, Forecast Review, and QBR (Quarterly Business Review), ensuring business health and forecast reliability across multi-region teams.
- Establish standardized sales motions and account management playbooks, driving consistency in execution while accommodating regional market nuances.
- Monitor daily sales performance through real-time dashboards and early-warning mechanisms, intervening proactively when pipeline gaps or execution risks are identified.
3. Data-Driven Insights & Risk Management
- Build and oversee full-lifecycle forecasting methodology and data operations infrastructure, including multi-role dashboards and predictive analytics capabilities.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis on prospect volume, account coverage, new-customer conversion, existing-customer retention, and partner-sourced pipeline, delivering actionable business insights and risk alerts to regional leadership and HQ.
4. Sales Enablement & Best Practice Replication
- Translate corporate strategy into executable sales playbooks, and channel policies, ensuring frontline teams are equipped to win.
- Design and deliver sales training programs (e.g., process acceleration, opportunity mining, solution selling) and incentive schemes that align behavior with strategic priorities.
- Systematically codify and scale proven wins across teams and regions, leveraging CRM automation to reduce friction and accelerate adoption.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Systems Optimization
- Act as the primary interface between Sales and back-office functions (Finance, Legal, Product, Marketing, MI, BI), aligning cross-departmental resources to land business rules and resolve blockers.
- Drive CRM and sales tool optimization, partnering with Product and Engineering teams to streamline workflows, automate manual processes, and enhance data quality.
- Support ad-hoc strategic initiatives including M&A integration, new market entry, and partner program launches.
6. Team Building & Capability Development
- Build and mentor a high-performing regional Operations team, instilling capabilities across Market Scanning, Replicate Wins, Risk Identification, and Efficiency dimensions.
- Establish career ladders, SOPs, and knowledge management systems to ensure operational continuity and talent pipeline health.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or a quantitative field.
- Minimally 5 years of progressive experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, or Revenue Operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing regional or global teams.
- Deep hands-on experience in B2B SaaS, Cloud Computing, or AI/ML infrastructure businesses prior exposure to enterprise software sales cycles and channel/partner ecosystems is essential.
- Proven track record of building operational systems from 0 to 1 in high-growth environments, including customer segmentation frameworks, L2C data infrastructure, and forecasting methodologies.
- Demonstrated success in multi-region operations, with sensitivity to cultural and regulatory differences across markets.
- High oral and written fluency in Mandarin is required as this role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders from China.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in global tech companies with global expansion and familiarity with their internal operating rhythms and data systems.
- PMP certification or equivalent proficiency in SQL, Python, or BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI) experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or proprietary systems).
- MBA or Master's degree from a top-tier institution preferred.
