Key Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Revenue Ownership
- Execute and operationalise the Group's commercial strategy in line with growth objectives.
- Own revenue targets, pipeline health, revenue mix, and margins.
- Translate strategy into clear commercial plans, priorities, and KPIs.
- Review performance regularly and intervene decisively when targets are at risk.
Sales Leadership (Multi-Vertical)
Oversee and drive performance across:
- Vehicle Sales (new, used, B2C, B2B)
- Rental & Leasing
- Insurance
Key focus areas:
- Lead Sales Managers and senior team leads with consistent performance standards.
- Drive cross-sell and upsell (e.g. vehicle to insurance to financing to rental).
- Ensure sales incentives and targets support long-term profitability, not short-term volume.
Business Development & Corporate Sales
- Set clear BD priorities across corporate, fleet, partnerships, dealers, and strategic accounts.
- Own BD pipeline quality, deal conversion, and commercial soundness.
- Ensure BD efforts are aligned with operational capacity and scalability.
- Partner closely with Operations and Finance on deal structuring.
Marketing & Branding Leadership
- Own execution and effectiveness of Marketing and Branding functions.
- Ensure marketing activity is tied to measurable commercial outcomes (leads, conversion, ROI).
- Prioritise resources toward highest-impact revenue opportunities.
- Act as the commercial gatekeeper for campaigns, ensuring alignment without micromanaging execution.
- Ensure brand consistency across all customer touchpoints.
Cross-Functional Integration
- Act as the integrator across Sales, BD, Marketing, Branding, Operations, and Finance.
- Resolve conflicts decisively and ensure pricing, messaging, and customer experience are aligned.
- Partner with Finance on forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking.
Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead, coach, and develop senior commercial leaders.
- Build a strong second line of leadership to reduce key-person dependency.
- Identify capability gaps and work with HR on talent upgrades or restructuring.
- Set clear KPIs, accountability, and performance expectations.
Performance Management & Reporting
- Own commercial dashboards and KPIs across all functions.
- Provide clear, data-driven reporting to the CEO.
- Surface risks early and recommend corrective actions.
- Build a performance culture grounded in data, not anecdotes.
Success Measures
- Group revenue growth and quality of revenue

Requirements
- 10-15+ years in commercial, revenue, or sales leadership roles, preferably automotive industry
- Proven experience managing multiple commercial functions, not sales alone
- Background in multi-product or multi-business environments preferred
- Strong commercial judgment and numerical literacy
