Role Overview

We are seeking a commercially driven and strategic Head of Regional Venue Partnerships & Growth to lead the expansion of our venues-first strategy across Southeast Asia. This role is responsible for identifying and unlocking new market opportunities, building high-value venue partnerships, and driving sustainable revenue growth across key regional markets.

As a senior leader, you will define and execute regional partnership strategy, establish strong relationships with hospitality and venue operators, and oversee market entry and expansion across countries including Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand.

This role combines strategy, commercial leadership, and hands-on execution, requiring frequent travel and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to scale our regional footprint.

You will lead and mentor country-level partnerships managers, ensuring strong execution, pipeline health, and revenue delivery across markets.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Expansion & Strategy

  • Lead the execution of a venues-first growth strategy across Southeast Asia, primarily in Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam
  • Develop country-level partnership strategies aligned with business growth targets
  • Lead strategic and cross-market partnerships, including key regional or flagship venue relationships
  • Execute partnership strategies defined at the regional level, adapting to local market conditions where needed

Partnership Development

  • Build and manage relationships with key venue partners (hotels, event spaces, hospitality groups)
  • Build and manage relationships with key event partners and event owners (PCOs, IP Owners, Event Owners)
  • Negotiate and close high-value partnership agreements
  • Establish long-term, mutually beneficial commercial partnerships

Revenue Growth

  • Own overall regional revenue targets and performance across markets, including oversight of country-level targets
  • Own regional revenue targets tied to venue acquisition and performance
  • Drive monetization strategies across venue networks
  • Identify new revenue streams within existing partnerships

Market & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Act as the regional face of the business across key markets
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations teams
  • Provide market insights to inform product and commercial strategy

Success Measures

  • Number of high-value regional and multi-market venue partnerships secured
  • Growth in regional revenue and recurring income across the venue portfolio
  • Contribution of new markets and partnerships to overall business revenue
  • Strength of regional pipeline, conversion rates, and deal value
  • Performance of country-level portfolios against revenue and partnership targets
  • Development and performance of local partnerships managers and teams
  • Expansion and diversification of the regional venue network

Requirements

  • 6-8+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or commercial roles
  • Strong experience in hospitality, events, or venue-related industries preferred
  • Proven track record of expanding into new markets and closing complex deals
  • Experience working across Southeast Asia markets
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the region
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and commercial acumen
