Head of Projects
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Projects to lead and oversee the end-to-end delivery of all client and internal projects across the organization. This role is responsible for establishing project management standards, driving execution excellence, managing and mentoring project teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with exceptional stakeholder management skills and a proven ability to align project execution with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the end-to-end delivery of all client and internal projects, ensuring timelines, scope, quality, and deliverables are met.
- Establish, standardize, and continuously improve project management methodologies, tools, and best practices across the organization.
- Manage, mentor, and develop project managers and cross-functional teams, fostering accountability, ownership, and high performance.
- Act as the primary escalation point for project risks, issues, dependencies, and client concerns, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales teams to align project execution with business priorities and strategic goals.
- Forecast resource requirements, plan capacity, and optimize team allocation across all active and upcoming initiatives.
- Identify and assess the feasibility of new features, initiatives, or business solutions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Create, maintain, and oversee project plans, schedules, documentation, and status reports across the project portfolio.
- Monitor overall project health, milestones, and key metrics, and provide regular updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Work closely with all internal and external stakeholders of the company to ensure successful project outcomes.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7-10 years of experience in project management, including leadership of complex, large-scale projects.
- Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects across cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of project management frameworks and methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong ability to identify risks, manage dependencies, and drive issue resolution.
- Demonstrated ability to align project delivery with business and client objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a technology or SaaS environment, preferably within a start-up or fast-growing company.
- Experience managing client-facing projects and enterprise-level software implementations.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum Master (CSM/PSM), or similar certification is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
- Experience in resource planning, capacity management, and portfolio-level oversight.
