Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Head of Production based in Singapore, with flexibility to work from home when appropriate. The Head of Production will oversee production planning, manage production operations, handle budgeting, and lead teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and with creative excellence. Other responsibilities include ensuring the practicalities of production logistics, coordinating cross-functional teams, and fostering a collaborative environment while maintaining the quality and integrity of creative processes.

A Head of Production (HoP) is a senior leadership role at the heart of the company. You will oversee the entire operational life cycle of multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and at high quality. A HoP will manage budgets, hiring, scheduling, compliance, and post-production, acting as a crucial bridge between creative vision and logistical execution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Leadership
Oversee all active productions simultaneously, from pre-production planning and crewing through post-production and final delivery.
Partner with Executive Producer to assess project feasibility and align production strategy with company's editorial direction and growth goals.
2. Production Operations
Ensure all productions meet legal, safety, and best practice standards.
Creating and managing production schedules, logistics and maintaining workflows.
Partner with Directors and Producers to align production operations and creative visions.
Oversee logistical planning with Directors and Producers to provide solutions to production challenges.
Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration and creative problem-solving.
3. Financial and Budgetary Management
Build and oversee project budgets, managing cash flow, and ensuring cost-effective production without compromising quality.
Manage crew/post-production/vendor negotiations, contracts and resource allocation.
