Job Description: Head of Product Management
This position has overall responsibility for Product Marketing & Management of allGC products within GC Asia region. The position is located in Singapore.
Summary:
The Head of Product Management is responsible for overseeing the product marketing and management functions across India, Southeast Asia, and Australia/New Zealand. This role involves developing and implementing product strategies, conducting market analysis, and executing product launches. The SHead of Product Management will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and drive product success. The position requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Functional Job Responsibilities:
1. Product Strategy and Management:
Develop and implement comprehensive product strategies that align with the company's business goals and market opportunities
Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept through development, launch, and post-launch performance
Collaborate with GCIAG Marketing Function and product development teams to define product requirements, features, and enhancements based on market needs and customer feedback
2. Market Analysis and Positioning:
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning
Develop and maintain product positioning and messaging that differentiates the product in the marketplace and aligns with customer needs
Create and manage product roadmaps, ensuring timely delivery of product milestones and alignment with strategic goals
3. Product Launch and Marketing Execution:
Plan and execute successful product launches, including go-to-market strategies, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and deploy marketing collateral, such asbrochures, case studies, and digital content
Coordinate with sales teams to ensure effective product training, enablement, and support
4. Customer Insights and Feedback:
Gather and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and sales data to inform product decisions and improvements
Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and industry influencers to gain insights and drive product enhancements
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with sales and customer support teams to align product strategies and ensure seamless execution
Facilitate communication between internal stakeholders and external partners to support product development and marketing efforts
Strong alignment with Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Research for product launch and LCM activities
6. Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Monitor and report on product performance metrics, including sales, market share, and customer satisfaction
Use data-driven insights to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and product initiatives, making adjustments as needed
7. Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge
Continuously seek opportunities to improve product offerings and marketing strategies based on market dynamics and customer feedback
8. Team Leadership:
Lead, manage, and coach both new and existing associates as members of the ProductManagement team in GC Asia
Help associates reach their full potential through training and coaching in all aspects of Product Management including project management, presentation, product knowledge, and dental knowledge
9. New Product Development:
Accelerate new product development through comprehensive project management, ensuring cross-functional and global alignment
Secure readiness for workflow commercialization and provide timely input as per request from GCIAG to GSP development steps
10. Sales and Marketing Integration:
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure a seamless integration of product strategies into overall business processes
Communicate regularly with regional sales leaders and teams to gather feedback and address concerns related to product strategies and sales effectiveness
