About the Role
Our client is hiring a Head of Overseas Retail and Channels based in our Singapore regional hub to lead our international expansion, focusing initially on building directly-operated flagship stores in Singapore and Malaysia. You will report to the President of Global Channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute comprehensive overseas channel expansion strategies, driving the brand's international footprint across Southeast Asia and beyond.
- Spearhead the rollout and management of high-quality directly-operated flagship stores, ensuring elite retail standards, strong unit-level economics, and consistent brand equity.
- Lead the strategic market entry into new territories, with an immediate focus on launching operations and retail networks in Malaysia.
- Take full ownership of overseas financial performance, P&L, channel optimization, and long-term sustainable growth.
Key Requirements
- Extensive leadership experience in regional retail development, multi-channel management, business expansion, or channel leadership within consumer, retail, or lifestyle sectors.
- Proven track record of taking brands cross-border, opening new overseas markets, and scaling physical retail or partnership networks across Southeast Asia, with a strong focus on Malaysia.
- Strong strategic planning and P&L management capabilities, balancing macro-level business layout with rigorous financial discipline.
- A hands-on builder mindset who is comfortable managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships and driving tactical execution from a regional hub.
