Job Purpose
Front end Project Design followed by direct implementation of operational plans and processes to deliver a smooth project and operational model for the targeted business volumes, meeting products/services standards and exceed quality standards in line with business strategy and objectives, corporate guidelines and policies. To also ensure operational excellence across the domain of the Industrial projects in APAC with proper implementation of subcontractor management, engineering expertise and adherence to compliance and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
.Implement operations plans and processes for the assigned site/ work station(s)
.Provide smooth logistics operations and deliver activities of receiving, handling and dispatching stations
.Execute plans to deliver agreed customer, service, quality and financial objectives for large/ complex projects
.Monitor the available capacities of the section/ site and ensure optimum utilization as per the set objectives
.Review operational performance and delivery against the agreed performance objectives with key customers
.Deliver, manage and update complex and large projects secured by the business
.Manage delivery of profitability, service quality and timelines
.Coordinate and control delivery of project breakbulk, general cargo and containerized freight
.Identify and share opportunities to grow business with and retain existing customer base
.Prepare and regularly share performance reports on site/ sections
.Resolve complex issues occurring in operational activities, report to management on events and exceptions
.Adhere to policies and achieve compliance with statutory obligations and legislation related to safety, HSQE
.Analyze productivity data and work methods to implement enhancements to increase operational efficiency
.Implement Vendor Management programmes and increase band width of subcontractors across the region
.Ensure proper method statements and engineering synergies for Heavy lift cargo
.Close cooperation with HSE to main operational excellence
.Monitoring station metrics
Qualifications & Experience
.Bachelors Degree, preferably in Engineering
.10+ years of operational experience in the Project Forwarding Industry
.Proven track record of managing complex, multi-origin project operations involving heavy-lift cargo, barging, multimodal solutions, and other specialized logistics activities
