Head of New Business Acquisition (Recruitment Consulting Business)
Caliber8 is a leading recruitment firm in areas of Maritime, Corporate functions and executive search assignment across sector and role types. As part of expansion we are looking to hire a dynamic, experienced and able Head of Business Development to acquire new clients across Singapore and Asia markets.
This role will be focussed solely on business development and new client acquisitions. Execution of roles will be done by a team of recruitment experts.
Reporting into the Co-founder based in Singapore your roles and responsibilities will be as below.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive sales and business development strategies, including new client acquisitions and regional coverage.
- Business Growth: Identify, pursue, and close new high-value deals, partnerships, and emerging market opportunities.
- Client & Partner Relations: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Leadership teams to align initiatives and maximize impact.
- Market & Data Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.
- Brand Representation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Ideal Candidate:
- Overall 8-12 years experience in front facing sales/hunter roles with exemplary track record in new client acquisition within the Singapore and Asia market.
- Knowledge within the recruitment industry will be a plus but open to welcoming candidates from across sectors like Financial Services, Insurance Energy, Maritime, HealthCare, Aviation etc.
- Someone with strong drive in BD, New Client acquisition will be a must.
Singapore Citizen or PR will be preferred.
