We are seeking an experienced Head of Network Security & Resilience to lead the strategy, architecture, and governance of network security across the organisation. This role is responsible for ensuring the resilience, integrity, and security of telecommunications and enterprise network environments, while aligning cybersecurity initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the organisation's network cybersecurity strategy and roadmap.
- Establish and govern network security architecture, standards, and best practices across core, access, transport, cloud, and edge environments.
- Oversee implementation and effectiveness of network security controls (e.g. firewalls, IDS/IPS, DDoS protection, secure access).
- Assess emerging technologies (e.g. 5G/6G, AI-driven networks) and ensure security is embedded in design and deployment.
- Lead incident response and risk mitigation strategies related to network threats.
- Engage senior stakeholders and provide strategic guidance on network security risks and investments.
- Build and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in cybersecurity or network engineering, with leadership responsibilities
- Strong expertise in network security technologies.
- Deep understanding of security frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in designing and securing large-scale, complex network environments.
- Strong background in security architecture and design governance.
- Experience defining standards, frameworks, and policies across regions
- Ability to embed security into network design and transformation programmes
- Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent) preferred.
