Job Description

Our client is a Printing Solution company. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for Head of Logistics & Supply Chain to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the full logistics function, setting strategic direction, KPIs, and resourcing plans
  • Develop and execute logistics strategies aligned with overall business objectives
  • Own and manage P&L performance, ensuring revenue growth, margin optimisation, and cost control
  • Participate in commercial discussions and contract negotiations with customers and service providers
  • Support new business onboarding, including operational design, system integration, and implementation planning
  • Oversee warehousing, fulfilment, and transportation operations to ensure service reliability and cost efficiency
  • Establish operating standards, SOPs, and governance frameworks to ensure audit readiness and compliance
  • Drive preventive controls to minimise inventory discrepancies and operational risks
  • Ensure adherence to Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Business Continuity standards
  • Lead automation, digitalisation, and warehouse transformation initiatives
  • Champion Lean, Six Sigma, or process optimisation programmes to enhance productivity and service levels
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve system integration, reporting visibility, and operational throughput
  • Build strong partnerships with customers, participating in performance reviews and strategic discussions
  • Identify opportunities for service expansion and value-added logistics solutions
  • Engage internal stakeholders across Sales, IT, and Finance to ensure seamless execution
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing logistics team
  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and operational discipline
  • Drive capability development and succession planning within the department

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, or related field
  • Minimum 15 years experience in logistics/supply chain, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven experience in manufacturing or 3PL environments
  • Strong track record in P&L management and business performance optimisation
  • Experience implementing WMS, automation, or digital transformation projects
  • Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma methodologies (certification preferred)
  • Familiarity with ASRS, Manhattan WMS, or Warehouse Control Systems is advantageous
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
