Head LNG Origination Asia
Play a key role in shaping Axpo's LNG strategy in Asia by driving innovative, customer-centric LNG solutions. You will develop new markets, build strong partnerships, and lead origination efforts aligned with the energy transition.
What you will do:
- Originate and execute LNG deals across Asia, including small-scale supply and bunkering solutions
- Design tailored LNG solutions for clients and counterparties which may include both physical deals and financial hedging solutions.
- Build relationships with stakeholders such as port authorities, IPPs, and industrial customers
- Monitor pricing, market, and regulatory trends in Southeast and South Asia to identify business opportunities for Axpo particularly in new markets.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless deal execution
- Lead commercial negotiations and represent Axpo at industry events
What you bring & who you are:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in LNG origination, trading, or commercial development
- Solid understanding of LNG markets, logistics, pricing, and small-scale solutions
- Proven deal-making ability with mid-sized buyers across Asia
- Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Fluent in English knowledge of Asian languages is a plus
- Analytical, communicative, and results-oriented
