We're hiring a multiple Heads of Business (P&L) roles to build and scale core lending businesses for a fast growing unicorn fintech.
These role are the in-country owner credit performance, growth and profitability, with full P&L ownership - in essence, we're looking for product-led, P&L-owning credit business builders, that have solid foundations in credit analytics / decisioning - you'll combine deep credit analytics expertise with commercial judgement, operating in a highly data-driven, test-and-learn environment to responsibly grow a profitable lending portfolio.
What You'll Own
- Full P&L ownership for the lending product, including growth, losses, yield, and lifetime value
- Lending strategy: target segments, pricing, offer design, and portfolio mix
- Risk appetite & credit policy, including approval rules, cut-offs, and offer strategies
- End-to-end credit lifecycle: Acquisition decisioning & fraud strategy, Line and account management programs, Collections strategy across delinquency stages
- Portfolio performance monitoring and rapid intervention when economics drift
How You'll Build
- Design and run structured experiments (A/Bs, holdouts, foundational tests) to:
- Discover new segments
- Identify model blind spots
- Improve unit economics and resilience
- Partner closely with Credit Analytics on scorecards, NPV models, affordability, and decision engines
- Work with Product, Growth, and Operations to embed credit logic into customer journeys
- Balance speed and innovation with strong governance and regulatory discipline
Who You Are
- 7-10+ years in automated, data-driven consumer and/or SME credit roles, with exposure to full credit cycles.
- Deep expertise in credit analytics / decision science, with real ownership of outcomes
- Hands-on experience with: Credit scoring models (statistical or ML), NPV / unit economics frameworks, Automated decisioning systems.
- Comfortable operating in high-growth, ambiguous environments and dynamic scale up environments.
- Commercially minded: you think in risk-adjusted returns, not just approval rates. A clear owner who takes accountability end-to-end.
