Our client is a global real estate / data center focused fund, with the APAC region seen as the number 1 growth market. You will be joining an established legal team (managing 7) and with oversight of transactions, commercial and compliance.
Job Description
- Your role will be to lead the legal function across Asia, based out of the regional HQ in Singapore
- The role will focus on end to end transaction work, commercial advice and regulatory support
- The focus of the role will centre around Real Estate Investments, M&A, JVs and general corporate matters.
- You will offer commercial guidance to senior leaders across the region, as well as forming part of the APAC steering committee
- Regulation and compliance will go hand in hand with transactional led deal work.
- You will also develop, hire and grow a team of mid-senior legal and compliance staff.
Requirements
- 15 - 20 PQE
- Educated and law firm training from international establishments and tier 1
- Mix of law firm and In-House essential
- Background in transactional work such as Public M&A, Real Estate Investment and/or Funds - essential
- Superb communication skills to handle stakeholders regionally, C-Suite and global leaders
