Responsibilities:
- Lead the legal team according to management directives and business needs.
- Provide legal advice on matters related to commodity trading, overseas project development, and corporate mergers & acquisitions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents to manage legal risks.
- Liaise with external law firms and coordinate domestic and international legal matters.
- Support management with other legal and compliance-related tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Law.
- At least 7 years of relevant legal experience prior exposure to corporate legal work or law firms is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of corporate and contract law, as well as international trade regulations experience in M&A and legal matters related to engineering projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with the legal and regulatory environment in Southeast Asia is preferred.
