About the Role
The role will be part of the core leadership team and is responsible for leading their in-house legal capabilities as a trusted business partner to the Group CEO and senior management on legal risks and governance matters in a highly regulated industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute and lead the legal strategy and governance across the organization.
- Draft and review policies, disclosures, and agreements to ensure regulatory compliance and establish internal governance policies and legal programs.
- Build scalable and effective legal processes for their trading platforms in alignment with business goals and regulatory frameworks.
- Advise on and support business-critical matters including licensing, partnership, fundraising and investment activities.
- Build and manage a high-performing legal team across jurisdictions while fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and legal excellence.
Qualifications
- LL.B from a reputable institution
- Min. 15 years PQE, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within CMS / Funds.
- Excellent leadership skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
