Head of Legal APAC - Financial Services

We are working on a search for a Head of Legal, APAC with a well-established international firm operating across financial markets.

This is a senior leadership role, responsible for overseeing the legal function across the region and partnering closely with global stakeholders to support business activities across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice across regulatory, transactional, and corporate matters
• Lead and develop the regional legal function
• Partner with senior stakeholders to support strategic initiatives and day-to-day business operations
• Manage external counsel and ensure effective legal risk management across APAC
• Stay abreast of regulatory developments impacting the business

Requirements:

• Qualified lawyer with solid post-qualification experience
• Prior experience in financial services or other regulated environments
• Strong regional exposure across APAC markets
• Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, international setting
