Overview
A leading organisation is seeking a Head of Learning & Development to lead enterprise learning strategy, design, and delivery. This role drives leadership capability, behavioural change, and long-term organisational effectiveness, working closely with senior stakeholders to translate strategy into structured, scalable learning solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Learning Strategy & Architecture
- Define and lead the organisation's learning strategy and frameworks
- Translate business priorities into structured learning journeys
- Design scalable, future-ready programmes grounded in modern learning principles
Faculty & Learning Excellence
- Set standards for facilitation, coaching, and learner experience
- Develop internal and external faculty capability
- Ensure consistency and quality across all programmes
Learning Platforms & Innovation
- Build and oversee a cohesive digital learning ecosystem
- Manage learning technologies, tools, and vendors
- Leverage data and emerging technologies to enhance outcomes
Measurement & Insight
- Establish frameworks to measure learning impact and behavioural change
- Generate insights to refine programmes and inform decisions
- Drive continuous improvement through data
Stakeholder Management
- Partner senior leadership on capability-building priorities
- Manage external partnerships with institutions and providers
- Represent the organisation with credibility and professionalism
Candidate Profile
Experience
- 10–15 years in Learning & Development, Organisational Development, or Talent Management
- Proven track record delivering enterprise-wide learning strategies
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and complex environments
- Strong exposure to digital and blended learning approaches
Capabilities
- Strategic and execution-focused
- Strong understanding of adult learning and leadership development
- High judgement, maturity, and stakeholder management
- Able to operate in complex, fast-moving environments
Education
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
- Relevant certifications in learning, coaching, or OD advantageous
