Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the position of Head of Jewellery Retail. As the Head of Jewellery Retail, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our chain stores and leading our team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve sales targets. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in diamond jewellery, along with a proven track record of successful staff training and management within the retail industry.
Responsibilities:
-Staff Training and Development:
- Adapt training materials for store staff, with a focus on diamond jewellery knowledge, product expertise, and customer service skills.
- Provide ongoing training, coaching and support to enhance the skills and performance of store staff.
-Sales and Customer Service:
- Drive sales targets and revenue growth across all chain stores.
- Ensure the highest level of customer service is provided to enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction.
- Resolve escalated customer issues promptly and professionally.
-Merchandising and Inventory Management:
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to curate an attractive and well-organized product assortment.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce shrinkage.
-Marketing and Promotions:
- Work with the marketing team to develop and execute effective in-store promotions and marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate on visual merchandising initiatives to create visually appealing displays.
-Budgeting and Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the annual budget for the retail division, ensuring financial goals are met.
- Analyze financial reports and identify areas for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Retail Manager or Head of Jewellery Retail with a focus on diamond jewellery.
- Strong knowledge of diamond jewellery products, grading, and industry trends.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively train and develop retail staff.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional customer service orientation with a passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
