Head of IT

We have a current opportunity for a Head of IT with a Multi Asset Management Platform. The position will be based in Singapore.

This role is looking for an IT Head who will be leading the region's technology strategy, development and operations. The role will lead the firm's IT Infrastructure, software engineering and technology governance across Asia.

Key Responsibilities
1. Technology Infrastructure & Policy Leadership

• Architect, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient technology infrastructure across the Asia region.
• Develop and execute a forward-looking regional technology roadmap aligned with business goals and growth strategies.
• Establish and uphold IT policies, cybersecurity protocols, data governance standards, and business continuity plans.

2. Software Development & Innovation

• Lead the development, integration, and maintenance of internal platforms, tools, and applications supporting investment, operations, and reporting.
• Champion high standards in software architecture, code quality, and system design.
• Spearhead automation and digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain hands-on technical oversight of software development and data architecture.

3. Strategic Leadership & Collaboration

• Build and mentor a high-performing regional technology team with a strong culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Partner with executive leadership and business heads to align technology solutions with strategic objectives.
• Act as a trusted advisor on technology strategy, innovation, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, ideally in financial services, asset management, or fintech.
• Proven expertise in software development, IT infrastructure, and systems integration.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, cybersecurity, data architecture, and DevOps methodologies.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams in dynamic, high-growth environments across Asia.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into scalable, effective technology solutions.
• Deep understanding of digital risk management and data security best practices.
• Familiarity with APAC regulatory and compliance landscapes.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
