Responsibilities:
You will lead a dedicated team of project professionals and business analysts, reporting directly to the Head of IT to drive innovation that yields tangible business results. You will manage the overall IT program of work, moving beyond individual project delivery to oversee a holistic portfolio that aligns with the strategic vision of student-centric innovation.
In this role, you will shape and deliver the project roadmap, working closely with various departments to prioritize initiatives effectively based on strategic value and resource capacity. You will strengthen portfolio oversight and reporting, providing senior leadership with clear visibility into progress, risks, and performance across all workstreams. Beyond technical execution, you will drive benefit realization across the program, ensuring that every investment-from AI-driven solutions to enterprise data systems-delivers its intended business impact. You will also get to mentor and grow your direct reports, fostering a culture of disciplined portfolio management and continuous improvement.

Requirements:
You will bring your experience of at least 8 to 12 years which includes managing comprehensive IT programs and portfolios, demonstrating that you can govern a broad landscape of work rather than just running isolated projects. Your background in the education industry, or a similarly complex environment, will be ideal as you navigate departmental competing interests to help stakeholders prioritize their requirements against the broader roadmap.
You will bring a proven track record of enhancing portfolio governance, specifically in providing transparent reporting that highlights project health, risk mitigation, and value delivery. Your deep understanding of the project lifecycle will be matched by your ability to ensure benefits are tracked and realized long after the initial go-live. You must demonstrate the ability to bridge the gap between technical delivery and high-level strategic outcomes with clarity and confidence.

Nice to haves:
Expertise in Product Information Management (PIM) and Master Data Management (MDM) implementation. Experience with Enterprise CRM platforms, such as Salesforce, and a familiarity with modern data environments like Databricks or AWS. Whether you have honed your craft through a PMP certification or through years of on-the-job mastery in a software management environment, you will bring an unwavering commitment to quality assurance, user adoption, and risk mitigation.
