We are partnering with a leading regional organization to hire an experienced Head of PMO to lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives and establish a best-in-class Project Management Office.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving PMO governance, portfolio management, project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and business transformation across multiple functions. The successful candidate will initially be hands-on in managing strategic projects while building and scaling the PMO capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and lead the PMO function, governance frameworks, and project management methodologies.
- Manage a portfolio of business and technology transformation initiatives.
- Drive project execution, risk management, budgeting, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
- Partner with senior business leaders and executive stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
- Develop PMO standards, reporting frameworks, and portfolio governance processes.
- Lead change management and drive adoption of new business processes and technologies.
- Build and mentor a high-performing PMO team.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in PMO, Program Management, or Business Transformation roles.
- Proven track record of setting up or leading enterprise PMOs and delivering large-scale transformation programs.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior leadership and C-suite executives.
- Background in consulting firms (Accenture, Deloitte, EY, PwC, KPMG, Capgemini, IBM Consulting, etc.) or large multinational organizations is highly preferred.
- Strong experience in PMO governance, portfolio management, project delivery, and change management.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent project management certifications are advantageous.
- Experience within logistics, supply chain, shipping, transportation, or related industries would be beneficial.
