Role Summary
The Head of Investor Relations and Fundraising is responsible for developing and executing the Groups investor relations and fundraising strategies. This is a high-impact role designed for a Singapore-based executive with deep experience and insights across capital markets, SGX regulations, corporate finance, private and public market investors, shareholder communications, and strategic fundraising for publicly listed companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive investor relations and communication strategies to enhance shareholder/ investor engagement and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, analysts, brokers, and key stakeholders.
- Lead and oversee all fundraising initiatives, including sourcing and engaging new investor relationshipssovereign wealth funds, financial institutions, family offices, HNWIs, and global institutional investors.
- Serve as the principal spokesperson to the investment community (including preparing and delivering results announcements, analyst/investor calls, roadshows, presentations, and annual general meetings).
- Draft, review, and coordinate the release of regular market communications, press releases, annual and quarterly reports, and regulatory disclosures to ensure best-in-class transparency and compliance with SGX listing rules.
- Work closely with senior management and business unit leaders to prepare investor materials, annual/quarterly financial updates, and strategic outlooks.
- Monitor market, peer, and investor sentiment, providing actionable feedback to senior management/board and contributing to capital market strategies.
- Advise management on capital structure, fundraising options, and financing activities in support of M&A, growth, and investment projects; execute capital raising and debt/equity issuance when required.
- Manage investor due diligence processes and address complex queries from shareholders, analysts, and rating agencies.
- Cultivate and expand the companys global investor and capital provider network.
- Support the integration of ESG and sustainability messaging into all external financial communications.
Candidate Requirements
- 1418 years of relevant experience in investor relations and fundraising for SGX-listed companies.
- Direct experience in managing investor communications, fundraising roadshows, and capital market transactions for listed companies.
- Proven track record building and maintaining relationships with institutional investors and the analyst community, ideally within the consumer, technology, real estate, infrastructure, investment, or diversified conglomerate sectors.
- Strong understanding of SGX regulations, corporate governance, and reporting requirements.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills; able to represent the company confidently to the global investment community.
- Strong relationships with key decision makers of institutional investors (onshore/ offshore).
- Ability to build a strong narrative on the companys growth trajectory amongst the shareholders, institutional investors and the capital market community at large.
- Skillset to formulate strategy for enhancing traction in the trading volume and increasing the shareholder base of the company.
- In-depth understanding of Corporate Finance and ability to execute such strategies which are value accretive to the company.
- Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field; CFA, MBA, or equivalent professional credentials preferred.
- Demonstrated experience providing executive-level counselCFO/CEO/Boardon capital markets and financing matters.
- High degree of integrity with proven ability to manage confidential information and complex stakeholder groups.
- Experience integrating ESG/sustainability messaging into financial communications is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, complex, and cross-functional teams.
- Professional efficiency in MS Office, financial modelling, understanding of IFRS/ accounting norms.
