Head of International People Solutions, Asia Pacific

What the day will look like

Core responsibilities:

  • Lead the regional Health Solutions client portfolio of international medical, life, disability and employee assistance programmes covering globally mobile employees.
  • Direct line management of the Expatriate Centre of Excellence staff and influencing relationship with brokerage teams in Australia, China, India, Japan via a hub & spoke model to deliver market leading international programme solutions.
  • Support local H&B leaders and sales teams through the acquisition of expatriate and local health solutions working with the relevant country and regional expertise
  • Responsible for growth of regional International People Solutions client portfolio and related revenue.
  • Build and maintain service capability to capture new business growth within key industries for International People Solutions.
  • Build and maintain sales capability & collateral and partner with regional sales teams and Industry Practice Leaders to deliver expected sales growth.
  • Ownership and full responsibility for converting those identified prospects into clients and managing an appropriate handover to the relevant client servicing teams.
  • Provide strategic account management services to the portfolio.
  • Provide thought leadership and market commentary around industry issues.
  • Facilitating Aon United activities in the Large Market, Regional and Global segments, including where appropriate the introduction of other Aon solution lines to clients.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Performing other duties and tasks as reasonably assigned by your Manager and members of the Regional Leadership Team
  • Contributing, as required, to Health Solutions and Global Benefits APAC initiatives and leadership forums
  • Engaging with all internal country and regional teams to bring the best of Aon to the client, and in particular by working closely with Health Solutions and Global Benefits APAC teams

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Minimum 15 years experience in consulting, broking, health insurance or healthcare analytics
  • University degree level education
  • Client management / experience presenting solutions to multiple senior stakeholders
  • Superb problem-solving and communication skills
  • Proven leadership and entrepreneurship skills, highly motivated, self-driven, ability to multitask and work under pressure
