Job Description

Our client requires a Singapore-based Head of Growth to lead their new business development efforts across the region. This is a fast-paced but extremely rewarding role that will allow self-development as well as growth of the overall business. The success of the sales department will ultimately drive the success of the business as a whole.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the entire new business cycle from prospect identification to contract implementation
  • Sell regional and local in-house content, creative and digital agencies that include a range of services including online and offline end-to-end creative and design, social and community management, media, digital, copywriting, videography, data and analytics
  • Create and design bespoke agency solutions for clients based on their specific needs
  • Develop structured sales strategies, sales plans, and profit targets
  • Deliver individual and team targets including annual revenue and gross profit targets
  • Manage and nurture the regional Growth team to maximize new business development opportunities
  • Increase business opportunities through various routes to market
  • Compile and analyze sales figures to optimize performance
  • Keep up to date with products and competitors in the market
  • Represent the business at conferences, trade fairs and networking events across the region
  • Maximize sales pipeline control to prioritize leads and revenue

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 to 12 years of experience in a growth or new business role, preferably with advertising or agency experience and knowledge
  • Proven track record of new business achievements with measurable results
  • Experience with management of new business teams and targets
  • Versatility to manage different stakeholders and industries
  • Fantastic presentation, networking and relationship building abilities
  • Commercially astute with aptitude for building commercial solutions and forecasting profitability
  • Ability to prioritize leads and maximize revenue via sales pipeline control
  • Face-to-face and telephone sales experience including negotiation and pitching
  • Proficient with Salesforce Customer Relationship Management system and Microsoft Office
  • Strategic, consultative and solution-based sales approach
  • Excellent document creation and sales deck capabilities
  • Independent and proactive with strong project management skills
  • Must come with an established network of Marketing and Procurement connections in medium to large-size businesses
  • Passion for and curiosity about Artificial Intelligence and new technologies
  • Ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding and knowledge of AI tools in marketing and creative workflows is beneficial
