Job Description

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Leadership Succession &Executive Talent Strategy

  • Build succession strategies for critical leadership and technical roles globally.
  • Strengthen leadership pipelines for future business continuity.
  • Partner with executive leadership to assess leadership readiness and succession risks.
  • Develop executive talent strategies to attract and retain top leadership talent globally.

Organizational Design &Transformation

  • Lead enterprise organizational design initiatives to improve agility, scalability, and operational effectiveness.
  • Evaluate organizational structures to ensure alignment with evolving business strategies.
  • Drive transformation strategies that enhance productivity and organizational competitiveness.
  • Lead workforce transformation initiatives arising from automation, digitalization, and changing industry demands.

Human Capital Risk Management

  • Identify global workforce risks including talent shortages, mobility challenges, leadership gaps, and regulatory shifts.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

Stakeholder Management

  • Ability to manage relationships with other Executive officers to ensure alignment of HR strategies with functional goals
  • Expertise in fostering relationships with employees to promote shared goals and outcomes

Industry Knowledge and Experience

  • Extensive experience in HR management, preferably in the maritime industry
  • Proven knowledge in managing HR systems, employee welfare programmes, and corporate governance
  • Understanding of geopolitical, regulatory, and labor market factors impacting global workforce strategies
