Job Summary
We are seeking a Head of Game Operations to lead multiple operations teams and oversee the performance, stability and growth of our live game portfolio. This role will manage team leads across live operations and user support while partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Publishing and Customer Support teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and develop multiple game operations teams and team leads.
- Define the overall operational strategy, priorities and performance targets for game projects.
- Oversee live operations, version releases, in-game events and player-facing issues.
- Establish and continuously improve incident management, risk-control and escalation processes.
- Monitor player feedback, operational data and market performance to identify improvement opportunities.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to improve game quality, player engagement and retention.
- Oversee workforce planning, team performance and operational workflows.
- Provide regular performance updates, risk assessments and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in game operations, live operations, product operations or a related field.
- Proven experience managing multiple teams, team leads or operational functions.
- Strong understanding of live-service games and international game markets.
- Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
