Head of FP&A – Supply Chain Finance

Ryan Owen Associates is exclusively representing a fast-growing international consumer products organisation in the appointment of a Head of FP&A based in Singapore. This is a highly visible leadership role supporting both the regional business and the organisation's wider international supply-chain operations.
About the Role
The successful candidate will lead financial planning, forecasting and performance management while partnering closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Manufacturing and Logistics. The role requires someone who can combine strategic FP&A leadership with a strong understanding of supply-chain economics, operational performance and cost optimisation.
Responsibilities
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning and monthly performance reviews.
- Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Improve forecast accuracy and provide clear visibility into business risks, opportunities and performance drivers.
- Translate complex financial and operational information into concise insights and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Prepare management reports, business reviews and executive-level presentations.
- Partner closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Operations and Logistics teams.
- Provide financial analysis across product costs, COGS, inventory, freight and logistics costs, working capital and capital expenditure.
- Support cost-saving initiatives, sourcing decisions, operational improvements and supply-chain transformation projects.
- Develop meaningful KPIs and improve visibility across financial and operational performance.
- Lead and develop the FP&A team.
- Strengthen planning, reporting, analytics and finance business-partnering capabilities as the organisation continues to grow.
Qualifications
- At least 15 years of progressive finance experience, including leadership responsibility within FP&A.
- Strong experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management.
- Demonstrated exposure to supply-chain, operations or manufacturing finance.
- Experience within consumer products, manufacturing or another supply-chain-intensive organisation.
- Strong understanding of P&L management, product costing, COGS, inventory, working capital and investment analysis.
- Proven ability to partner with and influence senior finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong financial modelling, analytical and executive-presentation capabilities.
- Previous team-leadership experience.
- A recognised professional accounting or finance qualification is preferred.
- Experience with SAP, Power BI or other planning and reporting systems would be advantageous.
