About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished Head of Finance to lead our financial strategy as we approach a transformative growth phase. The Parent Inc is a high-growth retail and consumer goods company with a credible pre-IPO pathway, seeking a senior finance leader to support its next phase of institutionalisation, capital formation, and public-market readiness.
This is a pivotal leadership role for a commercially minded finance executive who has navigated the demands of a public market listing - and thrived in the process. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable operating strategically and hands-on in a fast-scaling environment, and brings the credibility and discipline to help shape a business into an institutionally ready, publicly listed company.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with founders and shareholders on fundraising strategy and execution
- Drive investor engagement and manage institutional relationships
- Lead IPO preparation across financial, governance, and compliance dimensions - spanning SGX, HKEX, or ASX
- Build and scale the finance function to meet the rigour of public company standards
- Support capital formation activities, including self-originated investor relationships
- Manage relationships with auditors, legal counsel, investment banks, and regulators
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of experience across investment banking, fundraising, strategic finance, capital markets, M&A, or related leadership roles
- Demonstrated end-to-end IPO experience on SGX, HKEX, or ASX - from pre-IPO structuring through to listing
- CPA, CA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification
- Prior exposure to retail, consumer goods, or consumer-facing businesses is advantageous
- Strong command of IFRS or applicable regional accounting standards
- Strong investor credibility and a proven track record of execution in high-growth environments
- Comfortable operating both strategically and hands-on in a fast-scaling business
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a senior finance leadership role
- Experience across multiple listings or post-IPO environments
- Exposure to dual-primary or secondary listings across exchanges
- Background in retail, consumer goods, e-commerce, or related sectors
Compensation
Structured to align closely with outcomes, including:
- Milestone-based economics tied to capital raise success
- Long-term equity participation
- Differentiated fundraising incentives for self-originated versus company-originated investor relationships
